Text of report by Somali newspaper 'Xog-Ogaal' on 19th February

The Egyptian ambassador to Somalia has said that his government fully supports the Djibouti peace plan. He said Egypt would always try its best to restore peace in Somalia.

"Somali unity is sacred and it should be preserved. My government would redouble its efforts to finding a just solution to the Somali problem," the diplomat said.

The ambassador said his government would soon bring in a consignment of educational materials to be distributed to all the regions of Somalia.
