Somali warlords rearming for
another round of fighting
What is the role of the International Communities -
specifically the SECURITY COUNCIL of the UN and Secretary General of the UN towards the
the Somali issue? Why is the World Body helpless to find a solution to the Somali problem?
Is the World aware of the potential danger some parts of Somalia is becoming to
destabilise the whole East and Central African Regions? Is the world aware that a series
of proxy wars are being fought or will be fought in Somalia on behalf of this or that
regional or local power? There are at least 8 UN member states which are fighting their
proxy wars in Somalia. The country is also potentially a haven for dangerous groups. See
attachment for details of the present situation. What is the UN going to do about
this??Just sit back and watch?? Shouldn't the World body be helping the areas that established peaceful and stable governments?
