UN head in Kenya

The United Nations secretary-general, Kofi Annan, has begun a three-day official visit to Kenya.

On Monday and Tuesday Mr Annan will chair a meeting in Nairobi of the UN administrative coordination committee which brings together the chief executives of all the UN agencies.

Correspondents say the meeting will discuss UN support for African development.
