Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed receives an enthusiastic popular reception in
Garowe, the State Capital.
This
is to inform the people of Puntland State as well as the international
community that the President of the Puntland State of Somalia has
arrived Garoowe, the State Capital, today with warmest and in rare
popular reception by the residents of the city.
Garoowe
was in a festive mode as the President entered the city.
This follows the development leading to the victory of the
forces of Puntland State that have finally cleared the main road
linking Bosaso to Garoowe of road-blocks by bandits, outlaws and
extremists.
