The State Government of Puntland has restored Law and Order in Garowe, the State’s Administrative & Political Capital. This follows a joint security operation of Police and Darawish forces since Monday, November 5.

State security forces are now in full control of all State’s Ministries, Bank and other departments as they have occupied the Congress Hall to disband the participants of the illegal meeting in Garowe.

This operation by Puntland State’s Security forces is still in progress we release this statement at 9:15 am.
