Text of report by Somali newspaper 'Ayaamaha' on 27th March
The president of the republic of Djibouti, Ismael Omar Gelleh, is expected to meet
Libyan President Col Mu'ammar al-Qadhafi in Tripoli early in April. It is expected that
the two leaders will discuss the Djibouti peace proposal for Somalia
and ways of finding a lasting solution to the Somali political crisis. Reports say the
meeting is also expected to discuss how Libya can support the Djibouti-brokered Somali
reconciliation conference scheduled for April and how to ensure the success of the
meeting.
